London Landmarks Half Marathon
On Saturday 24 March, over 13,000 runners will tackle the London Landmarks Half Marathon.
Starting on Pall Mall, participants will zoom past well-known London landmarks including The Monument, St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Royal courts of Justice as they weave through the streets of Westminster and the City of London.
Iconic landmarks will be signposted by quirky and interesting facts and the route will be lined with historical and cultural performance including a suffragist pageant and a Roman reception. Spectators near The Monument will get to meet Robert Hooke, one of the The Monument's designers during its construction between 1671 and 1677.
Athletes and specators can save £2.80 when they visit both Tower Bridge and The Monument.
The London Landmarks Half Marathon event raises money for Tommy’s, a charity which aims to save lives by funding research into miscarriage, still birth and premature birth and provide pregnancy information to expecting parents.
